Cherry Clafoutis

The summer season has arrived, and so has an abundance of fresh cherries! Make use of their availability this season and try making a cherry clafoutis, it鈥檚 sure to bear fruit at the dinner table. 馃槉

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 60g of sugar

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 60g plain flour

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 300ml of milk

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 300g cherries

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 1 tsp lemon zest

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 陆 tsp vanilla essence

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 1 pinch salt


  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix eggs and sugar together in a large bowl, then sift in the flour and continue to whisk.
  3. Stir in milk, lemon zest, and salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Lightly coat a large baking dish with butter and sprinkle with sugar to coat. Place cherries in the dish, then pour over the batter.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until ready.
