HOOKED ON BOOKS: Shelter In Place

With the holidays in full swing and plenty of free time, what better way to enjoy yourself than by catching up on some reading? Our residents certainly seem to think so! This month we’ll introduce four books that have been recommended to us.

Today’s book is “Shelter In Place”, by Nora Roberts.

What started as a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine, turned into complete chaos and carnage. Gun shots were fired, and many lives were taken before the shooters were taken down. For the those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

The novel follows a select few of the survivors, as they slowly heal, find shelter, and rebuild. But they will discover that another conspirator is lying in wait – but this time, there might be nowhere safe to hide.
