The difference here is that residents really feel cared for, they can ask questions and know that the staff will take an interest.
Moira returned to Heritage Lifecare in 2020 as Care Home & Village Manager. She is proud of the fact that at Heritage, residents are treated as individuals. “The difference here is that residents really feel cared for, they can ask questions and know that the staff will take an interest.”
She’s adamant that this part of their lives should be just as much fun as the last which is why she’s such a big advocate of the activities here. “It gives residents something to look forward to, and creating experiences for our residents is what Heritage stands for.” Our programme is designed for residents who live here which is just one of the ways we make it ‘A Better Everyday’ for everybody here.”
Moira is aware that transitioning to Care can be an emotional and difficult time. She’s very experienced in how to go about the Needs Assessment process and believes that Respite Care is a good way for residents to ‘try before they buy’.
