Rosalie started as Care Home Manager at Granger House Lifecare in Greymouth in January 2022. Prior to coming to Granger House, she was the Quality and Patient Safety Manager at the WCDHB for over three years, following a five-year tenure as Nurse Manager in Strategic Services.

“I am a Registered Nurse, with 20-plus years’ experience and I’m excited to bring management skills that I’ve gained over the past decade to my role here at Granger House Lifecare,” she says. Rosalie feels her experience will enable her to lead and help staff continue to embrace the vision and values that Heritage Lifecare are dedicated to.

“Our staff are a dedicated, happy bunch who are all committed to providing ‘A Better Everyday’ for our residents. We’re a multicultural mixture, young and not so young,” she says.

Rosalie loves her job and the fact that she’s working with people she knows, saying, “I know so many of the residents as I’ve been around the West Coast all of my life. I love doing my morning round and saying hello, listening to their stories, and being able to sort out any little issues that are worrying them. It’s nice to be able to support them and their families to have choices, and to enjoy their time here, especially in these uncertain times during a pandemic.”
