Van loaded and ready to go, Highfield Lifecare residents headed half an hour south to the Waimate Shears. Enjoying a great day out, everyone loved watching the shearers race against the clock, as well as seeing the show jumping as they stopped for lunch. To top off a great day, they were off to view the statue of Ted D'Auvergne at the Forks Hotel, before going to the senior citizens lounge, and Knottingley Park, Te Kiteroa for the view and Pullar sawmill. A great way to have "A Better Everyday"!
