Palms Village & Lifecare village residents had a fabulous day out on a steam train recently as part of the Glenbrook Train Centennial Celebrations.
A group of fourteen villagers did a special trip on an original steam train from Otahuhu Station to the Strand in Parnell, past Sylvia Park and back over a fun filled hour.
Sue McMillan, Senior Village Coordinator said they all loved every minute of it, ”Everyone was so excited when it pulled into the station blowing steam, it was a real trip down memory lane!” she said
