Irene is both hearing and sight impaired. She simply adores playing with Poppy, our ‘Therapy Dog in Training’. Poppy is a Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles and toy poodle cross) and she was just 9 weeks old when she started working with me at Redroofs. Poppy loves people and all of the cuddles, kisses and pats she gets as part of our therapy programme. Poppy gets a walk around the building 3 times each day and one of our Dementia residents loves to talk with her for a good half hour daily. Poppy works four days a week at Redroofs so give her a pat next time you visit.
