“Over the last 15 years, I’ve been working in Aged Care in Wellington and my move to Rotorua meant I can be with 3 of my grandchildren who live here”, she says.

Like many of those who have moved to Aged Care, Alvina has a passion for creating ‘A Better Every day’.“I love making a difference to the lives of our residents and sharing my skills and experience with our wonderful staff.”

Alvina says the team at Cantabria comes from many wonderful diverse cultures, “I’m proud of our team's commitment and passion, from the clinical care, meals, housekeeping, and maintenance to the engaging activities. A lot of the staff have been at Cantabria for many years.”

She wants prospective families to know about the care options available at Cantabria.
