Here we also have a senior hospital offering specialised hospital care, including a dementia care wing dedicated to helping seniors with dementia. We also provide palliative care for seniors living with a life-limiting illness.
On the opposite side of Hastings you’ll find Waiapu House Lifecare & Village. Here too you’ll find a warm and welcoming rest home offering respite care and elderly daycare. Palliative Care
We see palliative care as an active service and provide ongoing care to our residents through all stages of illness. Our priority is to manage pain levels and physical comfort, closely followed by emotional and spiritual support for residents and their family and whanau too. We strive to enable our residents to experience every moment in a way that is meaningful to them.
