Today is International Dog Day and what better day to enjoy a little bit of tail-wagging fun with your furry friend.
The residents of Waiapu House enjoyed a visit from 'Dogs on Bikes NZ'. 'Dogs on Bikes NZ' is a non-profit group of motorcyclists and dog owners who visit Rest Homes around the Hawke's Bay. The group can regularly be spotted out and about at community events collecting donations for the SPCA.
Waiapu residents got to enjoy Benny showing off a few tricks, followed by pats & cuddles, and the opportunity to take photos with the dogs and motorcycles. The resident's smiles say it all, what a great way to support this awesome cause, while enjoying "A Better Everyday".
