Somerfield Peace Tree
Somerfield Rest Home wanted to acknowledge the issues overseas without alarming the dementia residents. They purchased a lovely artificial blossom tree and asked the residents what “peace” meant to them. Residents wrote on a tag and then hung it on the tree. The comments were so lovely. Currently the tree is located in the reception area for family and friends to view and add their comments.
