Tracy (back row, second right) is the Village Co-ordinator, Physio Assistant and Health and Safety Representative, she has been at Heritage for four years now.

Tracy works with the activities team to make sure everyone’s needs are covered. “I love the change we see in residents who engage in activities. They start smiling, they’re happy, they feel like they belong. It’s all about fun and fellowship and everyone plays their part in making people feel welcome.”

“Heritage reduces the loneliness that people can feel. We make sure the residents get that community spirit without losing independence, they’re safe and well looked after and they know there’s always someone they can talk to. It’s very much a big family community because it’s still small enough to be close-knit.”

So what does 'A Better Everyday' mean to Tracy? That’s easy. “The people who live here are the heart of the whole place, without them we don’t have our Care Home. Just talking to people can brighten their day and they brighten mine too.”
