We’re very lucky to have such a fabulous team who really care for our residents’ wellbeing
Wendy started at Telford Lifecare and Village in August 2021, having spent a year at the Western Institute of Technology teaching in the Bachelor of Nursing course and coordinating the Competency Assessment Programme.
“I have a background in Care Home management, and I was keen to get back to my true calling,” says Wendy.
She’s enjoying working with a wonderful team who work together to provide the highest standards of care to the residents. “I like to draw on my teaching and mentoring experience to get the very best from my team,” she says.
Wendy likes to make sure that every resident feels they’re an individual, saying, “It’s important to create an environment that makes their life have true meaning”.
Wendy says the homely feel at Telford Lifecare is very special, but it’s the people who make all the difference. “We’re very lucky to have such a fabulous team who really care for our residents’ wellbeing,” she says.
